Lobbying – Talk to Your Local MPP
It’s important to let your local Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) know how you feel about important provincial issues – like the Social Assistance Review.
That’s because part of their job is to represent your views in the work they do at Queen’s Park.
There are two main ways to contact them – write them a letter or e-mail, or meet with them in their Constituency Office.
1) Here’s how to write your MPP a letter or e-mail about the Social Assistance Review.
We’ve given you information on how to find out who your MPP is (if you don’t already know), their address and e-mail contact, and what you might think about saying to them.
2) And here’s how to set up a meeting with your MPP.
From how to figure out who your MPP is, to what to wear to the meeting, and who to take with you, our tips will help you make an impact.
Maybe you already know your MPP – or maybe you live in the kind of place where you bump into your MPP at the grocery store.
However you do it, talk to your local MPP about the need for a bold, broad Social Assistance Review.
